How to Use?
· Step 1: Prepare the Thermometer
Begin by attaching a new, clean, disposable lens filter securely onto the thermometer. These single-use caps are designed to prevent cross-contamination and maintain the accuracy of the device by keeping the lens free from dirt or debris.
· Step 2: Power On the Device
Turn on the thermometer by pressing the "start" button. You’ll know the device is ready for use when you hear two beeps, and the ear icon appears on the display without flashing.
· Step 3: Take the Temperature
Gently position the probe snugly in the ear canal to ensure accurate results. Once in place, press the "start" button. The thermometer emits one beep for a normal temperature reading. If the temperature is 37.5°C or higher, you will hear two consecutive beeps, and for temperatures 38.6°C or above, the device will alert you with four beeps. The temperature reading will be displayed on the screen.
· Step 4: Remove the Lens Filter
Carefully detach the used disposable lens filter without applying force. Dispose of the filter appropriately. The thermometer will power off automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity, conserving battery life.
