Designed for highest demands at extreme external conditions, this line convinces through high-quality, particularly robust full-grain leather - concerning the GRAVITY MID also in combination with water-resistant and breathable Coa.Tex® membrane and superior TPU-sole technology. The sole is a combination solution of TPU for the outsole and PU as shock-absorbing intermediate sole. Compared to pure PU-soles, it is lighter, remarkably more flexible and durable against cuts, breaks, abrasion and wear. TPU-soles are characterized by the "windscreen-wiper effect": The shoe "wipes" standing wet off the ground and increases hereby the anti-slip safety. The transparency of the TPU part of the duo sole is at the same time optically attractive and proof of quality. The ALBATROS® comfit AIR footbed provides shock-absorbing elevations in the heel and balls area as well as support for the longitudinal arch. Hereby, the natural position of the foot in the shoe is optimized and the muscles while walking are stimulated. The slip-resistant textile surface is odour-resistant, humidity-absorbing and washable at 30°C.
