How to Measure Your Ring Size

Option 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own
If you already have a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you plan to wear your new ring on, this is one of the easiest methods.
- Place the ring on a ruler.
- Measure the inside diameter from one inner edge to the other, excluding the metal.
- Compare your measurement with the Diameter column above.
- If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
Option 2: Measure Your Finger

If you don't have a ring to measure, use a strip of paper, string or dental floss.
- Wrap it comfortably around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the ends overlap.
- Measure the length in millimetres with a ruler.
- Compare the measurement with the Circumference column above.
- If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
Option 3: Visit a Jeweller
For the most accurate fit, visit a local jeweller and have your finger professionally measured. This is particularly recommended for engagement rings or if you're unsure between two sizes.
Helpful Ring Sizing Tips
Measure at the End of the Day Your fingers naturally become slightly larger later in the day, making this a good time to measure.
Avoid Cold Hands
Cold fingers can measure smaller than normal, while very warm fingers may swell.
Consider the Ring Style
Wider bands generally feel more snug than slim bands. If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
Measure More Than Once
For the best accuracy, take your measurement two or three times.
Buying a Ring as a Gift?
If you're choosing a ring as a surprise gift:
- Borrow a ring they already wear on the correct finger.
- Compare it with the diameter measurements above.
- Ask a close friend or family member if they know their ring size.
- If you're unsure, choosing a slightly larger size is often the safer option.
Need a Different Size?
Many rings can be resized by a professional jeweller. However, some styles, including eternity rings or rings with intricate gemstone settings, may have limited resizing options. If your preferred size isn't available, please contact us before placing your order. Selected designs may be available as a custom size.
